A green Tara in gilded fire-bronze, originating from the Kathmandu Valley in Nepal and dating to the 19th century. The goddess is depicted seated in the Newar tradition, with her right hand in the varada mudra and holding a lotus attribute. The cast bronze retains traces of its original fire-gilding and an old patina. The surface shows wear, localized losses, and signs of age; the condition is consistent with that of an antique religious statue, with no reported cosmetic restoration.
