Large Glazed Earthenware Jar From Fréjus, Late 16th Cy, With Green-glazed Neck & 5 Stamps

Extremely rare and spectacular glazed earthenware jar from Fréjus
Late 16th century
Only the neck is glazed in khaki green. The thick rim of this neck originally had several holes drilled along its irregular circumference, which were likely used to secure the lid during transport (with leather, hide, or other fabric).
This part of the jar also features 5 large sunken stamps—also known as seals—which are illegible because they are covered by the glaze (each stamp is 5 cm diameter). The type and number of these marks made it possible to easily identify the owners of the goods being transported: olive oil, wine, etc.
A referenced example, from the private collection of Dr. Christian MORAND, which is very similar in dimensions and features a particularly rare greenish enamel color, bears three seals featuring the fleur-de-lis shield, along with the inscription “CIAME 1593” (please check last photo with attached documentation)

Condition:
One crack, more visible inside of the jar, but which does not affect the piece’s fragility.
It is very rare to find these pieces perfectly intact, given their size and considerable weight. Some were left in gardens and damaged by frost,...
Dimensions:
Approximately 91 cm in height and 65 cm in diameter.
-Taking measurements is not easy because the shape, formed on a potter’s wheel, is obviously not perfectly regular
In the penultimate photo, another enormous Fréjus jar from the same period, late 16th century, shorter but more bulbous (H 80 cm and diameter 62 cm) and bearing old restoration clamps; it is notably decorated with fleur-de-lis stamps.
Mr. Pierre EXCOFFON, an archaeologist from Fréjus Heritage Service, had identified two marks from the Fréjus workshop—MV PF—and, above it, that of Jérome Ycard (with the inscription FACT PAR HIEROME YCAR).
The latter is currently part of my personal collection, but I may decide to sell both together (please check photos 10 and 11).
