Neogothic Monstrance - Goldsmith Fuchs – Late 19th Century

A high-quality piece dating from around 1900, crafted by master goldsmithJoseph Fuchs in Paderborn, Germany, whose name is engraved on the underside of the piece.
Made of gilded metal and finely chased, it features six enameled medallions, pearls, and colored glass beads.
The circular base, lavishly decorated with leaf motifs and engraved scrollwork, supports a baluster shaft and several knots adornedwith polychrome enamels and openwork motifs.
The piece is topped by a Calvary.
Ina used case but with a beautiful purple velvet lining.
