Description

A beautiful painted wardrobe with two doors, entirely painted blue.
The doors feature four panels depicting lavish bouquets of colorful flowers. The same motifs are repeated, with some variations in color, on the side panels, corner details, cornices, and sides.
The doors are gently curved at the top. Of particular note is the shaped and carved molding, culminating in a capital with acanthus leaves, just below the date of construction, clearly visible in the center of the cabinet.
This cabinet can be divided vertically into two parts to facilitate transport.
The hardware is beautiful: key, lock, hinges, and the snap latch on the left door—all original and in working order.

The photographs you see show the piece before restoration. It is in excellent condition.
At the time of sale, the piece will be delivered fully restored. The customer will decide the desired extent of restoration. Our workshop guarantees a conservative restoration for every piece of furniture, respecting its integrity.

– cleaning and sanitizing of the interior
– exterior finish with natural beeswax
– interior finish with shellac (a natural, alcohol-based varnish)
