Large Red And Gold Oval Tray Made Of Painted Sheet Metal, Dating From The Directoire–empire Period
Large oval tray made of painted sheet metal from the Directoire-Empire period, featuring rich red and gold decoration consisting of a wide garland of flowers and foliage, and, on the rim, a frieze of pearls and water leaves. Two side handles. The black underside bears an inscription painted in white: “30 p.”
Considering its age, the tray and its decoration are in very good condition. Note, however, a circular mark left by a container.
