Christofle Renaissance Three-piece Silverware Set In 0.925 Sterling Silver – Cardeilhac Model
Welcome and thank you for visiting my shop.
A remarkable and luxurious three-piece French cutlery set from Christofle, crafted in the prestigious Renaissance design. It includes a dinner fork, a dinner spoon, and a dinner knife, with a total weight of 259 grams.
The Renaissance pattern was originally created by the famous Parisian silverware house Cardeilhac. After Christofle acquired Cardeilhac in 1951, this historic pattern continued to be produced by Christofle.
The richly crafted handles feature an openwork Renaissance design composed of mascarons, stylized foliage, and architectural elements. Thanks to the finesse and complexity of its craftsmanship, Renaissance ranks among Christofle’s most prestigious cutlery designs.
Hallmarks and signatures:
The spoon bears, on the inside of the bowl, the full inscriptions “CHRISTOFLE” and “STERLING,” as well as the maker’s mark and the fineness mark “OC 0.925.” The word “FRANCE” also appears on the side of the handle.
The fork bears the same marks: CHRISTOFLE, STERLING, OC 0.925, as well as “FRANCE” on the side of the handle.
The knife’s stainless steel blade is marked CHRISTOFLE – STERLING – FRANCE. The sterling silver handle also bears the OC 0.925 hallmark.
The letters OC stand for Orfèvrerie Christofle. The 0.925 marking confirms that the silver parts are made of sterling silver with a fineness of 925/1000. The knife’s blade is made of stainless steel.

This cutlery set is of very high quality and is in very good condition. It appears to have been used very little. Only slight signs of wear and fine cleaning scratches—which are normal given its age—are visible. The openwork design is complete and remains very sharp. No monogram.
