A Charming Little Carved Wooden Console Table In The Louis XV Style, 19th Century.
A carved wooden console table with a bipod base, in the Rocaille style, modeled after early Louis XV-period Parisian designs.
With a dynamic silhouette, it rests on two strongly curved and scrolled legs that join at the bottom to form an asymmetrical cartouche featuring chicory leaves.
The band, also with a flowing design, is openwork and centered on a cartouche adorned in the middle with a flower and leaves, while the sides feature a series of curves and counter-curves on either side.
The top is painted in a green faux marble finish.
A charming little piece of furniture that fits in anywhere.
Height: 64.5 cm. Width at the top: 59 cm. Depth at the top: 33.5 cm
