Bronze Hot-water Bottle Lamp, Restoration Style – Early 20th Century
An elegant hot-water bottle-style lamp in gilded bronze and brass, featuring three light arms superbly sculpted into dolphins. At the center, the slender shaft holds three light bulbs, connected to one another by a sturdy structure. This assembly slides smoothly along the stem, allowing you to adjust the height of the lighting to suit the desired ambiance.
The top of the stem is crowned with a laurel wreath, a symbol of prestige and victory. This stem also serves as a support for the green sheet-metal lampshade. True to the spirit of traditional hot-water bottle lamps, the lampshade is height-adjustable, offering precise control over light diffusion.
The warm patina of the gilded bronze, combined with the deep green of the lampshade, creates a noble and timeless contrast, ideal for enhancing a study, living room, or library with character.
