Elegant Screen Lamp, Bronze With 2 Patinas, Early 19th Century Period
Artist: Ateliers Parisiens
Beautiful bronze lamp with two patinas, black and gold, standing on basket base with fine openwork, centered of a rosette of acanthus leaves. High steel rod makes it possible to slide a bronze and brass screen holder to the desired height, as well as a double candlestick with elegant windings. Stem ends with a pretty plume. A screen from the period, but which may not be original, completes this luminaire.
Overall good condition, slight deformations, the screen, a fragile object, shows some fatigue.
Parisian workshops, 1830/1850, I am sure you will appreciate the quality of the re-drilling.
