Bookcase 3 Doors In Rio Rosewood, Charles X Period - Early 19th Century

Bookcase entirely composed of Rio Rosewood veneer and inlays of Lemon tree net on its visible sides. It opens with three identical doors embellished with inlays representing leaves and a clover, and provided with bronze entries with functional locks with two strikers, supplied with their keys. The glazing, in a so-called "cathedral" shape, is animated in the upper part, and surrounded by nets and a thin Lemon tree rod. These last elements are repeated on the lower third of this piece of furniture, with solid panels. The uprights on each side and the pilasters in the middle are projecting, in attached columns and canted, they taper downwards. The pediment offers finely cut patterns, with fallen small Rosewood and Lemon tree acorns. The sides are smooth and in the same spirit as the facade. Inside this furniture made of light wood, there are a total of twelve Sycamore shelves, with Rosewood edges and Lemon tree net, mounted on racks (note that the addition of additional shelves is possible on request ). It should be noted that the partitioning between these parts offers low-span storage spaces, with flexible layout. This bookcase can easily be installed in interiors with difficult access, since it is completely removable by a simple system of reminder screws. Its fineness of manufacture, the selected wood species and its 200 years of history make it a rare piece of high quality furniture.
