Important Pair Of Bronze Vases, Japan - 1900
Pair of bronze vases with brown patina, originating in Japan and dating from the beginning of the 20th century. Each vase has distinct decorations representing fawns, birds of prey and a Fô dog against a background of vegetation. Flowers and branches form the handles. The very flared collar is embellished with birds and two long patterns in relief. These vases rest on a pedestal, with important decorations of turtles fighting against a raging sea. Fascinating and original, these vases will seduce you with the multitude of details they contain.
