Large Carved And Patinated Wooden Table Lamp – Napoleon III Style – 19th Century

A very beautiful large antique carved wooden table lamp, richly carved and patinated in dark brown tones with beautiful gold highlights.

The base features a particularly elaborate design of acanthus leaves, scrollwork, gadroons, and foliage motifs, with a baluster-shaped shaft and a wide, molded circular base.

The finish is intentionally designed to mimic the appearance of antique bronze, even though it is made of carved wood.

The lamp is completed by an antique pink fabric lampshade, adorned with a decorative band featuring botanical motifs and gold trimmings, which adds a great deal of character to the room.

A highly decorative lamp, ideal for an antique, classic, or eclectic interior.
