[1] Pál Fried’s work is closely linked to the traditions of French Impressionism. He studied at Lucien Simon’s academy and under the guidance of Claude Monet. In 1947, he moved to New York, where he taught at an art academy. During the 1950s and 1960s, he worked in Hollywood. Many well-known figures, including Marilyn Monroe, posed for him. The painting is in excellent condition.
