Set Of Six Louis-philippe Chairs In Light Cherry Wood, With Cane Seats – 19th Century
A beautiful set of six Louis-Philippe period chairs, crafted from light cherry wood and featuring cane-woven seats.
They feature a particularly elegant and dynamic silhouette: the openwork backs are generously curved and scalloped, while the aprons and front legs display beautiful, sinuous lines. The legs are joined by turned crossbars that ensure the chairs’ stability.
The cherry wood has a beautiful aged patina, with warm, light tones. The slight variations in color visible from one chair to the next add to the charm and authenticity of this series.
The six chairs have been refurbished in our workshop and treated with Xylophene as a preventative measure. They are sturdy, stable, and perfectly suitable for everyday use.
Two of the cane seats have been recently re-woven using traditional methods. The others are original and in good working condition.
A lovely set of dining chairs that are decorative, comfortable, and easy to incorporate into both traditional and contemporary interiors.
