Dauphiné Walnut Chest Of Drawers XVIII Th Century

Charming little Louis XV period solid walnut jumper chest of drawers, dating from the mid-18th century.
probably Dauphiné work, you can see by the quality of the walnut used and the mounting at the back of the piece, as well as the flat sides also known as "limandes", look carefully at the photos, thank you.
this lightly-proportioned chest of drawers is also an in-between chest of drawers, ideal and easy to place in any type of interior thanks to its sobriety.
very beautiful original patina, the original bronze knobs and lock escutcheons too.
it's been fully overhauled in the workshop but to really say there's hardly any restoration!
it is corner flower, and has only undergone a preventive treatment with xylophene and has been rewaxed several times to obtain a beautiful glaze.
it opens with two large drawers on the front, moreover the front is slightly belted,
it stands on 4 curved legs and the top is nicely belted and molded.
the legs have not been grafted!!
the locks are old but there are no keys left.
drawers are dovetail-mounted and drawer interiors are fir.
beautiful proportions, superb patina, a very decorative little jumping chest.
