Imposing Corinthian column forming a selette in peach blossom marble and decorated with a Corinthian capital in mercury-gilded bronze and a crown of laurel leaves as well as an astragalus decorated with acanthus leaves on the base, all in gilded bronze.
peach blossom marble is superb with magnificent pink color contrasts.
the mercury-gilded bronze trim is very beautifully made, the Corinthian capital is a real, very finely chiseled bronze lace.
the top is superb and has been repolished it has a pretty molding.
