Description:

This round-shaped Tsuba(Maru-gata) showcases the classic theme of Aki no Nanakusa (TheSeven Herbs of Autumn).
It features an abundance of chrysanthemums (Kiku)and seasonal flowers in sparkling high relief (Takabori), standing outsubtly against a textured geometric mesh background (Ami-ji).

The piece features a beautiful,nuanced patina,
revealing the richness of the solid copper and preserving, in thecentral area (Seppa-dai), authentic traces of chisel work(Tagane-ato), bearing witness to its history and traditional craftsmanship.
