Lacquered wooden base, decorated with chrysanthemums, foliage motifs, and tsubame (swallows)—symbolizing spring, speed, and renewal.
Lacquered wooden upright decorated with hana-bishi (flower crest), the jô-mon (main crest) of the Mi-yoshi samurai, and the kaye-mon (secondary crest) of the Yanagi-sawa of Kôri-yama.
