Antique Large Blacksmith's Compass, Forged Iron – 18th / Early 19th Century

Authentic large blacksmith's compass made of forged iron, entirely handcrafted. This antique tool was used to measure and transfer dimensions, check the diameters of metal or wooden parts, and draw large circles in blacksmith, wheelwright, or carpentry workshops.

Its beautiful original patina, forging irregularities, and riveted hinge are evidence of traditional craftsmanship. Both decorative and historic, this piece will find its place in a collection of antique tools or as part of an industrial-style decor.
