This pair of cushions has just come out of our workshop. Let’s take a closer look at the item first.
The front features embroidery. The back is made of velvet for softness and comfort. It’s worth noting that Catherine, our seamstress, has masterfully created this set with perfect cohesion—both in terms of texture and the harmonious color of the velvet, which precisely echoes one of the bluish hues found on the front.
Let’s talk specifically about the front: a pair of fragments from a Maffrash Shasaven originating in Persia. The weaving is exquisite, of the utmost finesse. The motifs are created using a second weft thread that forms the symbols.
The colors are exclusively plant-based; the indigo blues are ravishing.

More than just highly decorative cushions, these pieces embody the entire history of exceptional weaving, expressed in ultra-harmonious and vibrant tones.

These Maffrash fragments date from the early 20th century.
