Pair Of 18th-century Silver-plated Bronze Lamps

Pair of silver-plated bronze lamps—18th century. Originally Louis XVI-era candlesticks, converted into lamps in the 19th century; made of chiseled silver-plated bronze, with a ribbed shade resting on an inverted baluster shaft decorated with garlands of foliage, fluted bands, and spikelets, resting on a circular pedestal base adorned with pearl friezes.

The lampshades are one-of-a-kind, crafted from a luxurious, turquoise-blue fabric with Japanese-style braiding.
