Ada Loumani is a French artist born in 1959. Coming from a family of glassmakers and self-taught, Ada Loumani specializes in glassblowing using the “Grail technique,” which involves working the glass successively with cold and hot techniques to create effects of depth within the piece.
This technique allows the artist to encapsulate actual paintings within the glass, playing with the depths and resonance of colors. More than just craftsmanship, it is a true creative process: “My work is constantly evolving; my inspiration is endless, and my desire to be part of the adventure of contemporary glassmaking is compelling,” says Ada Loumani.
Her work has garnered international recognition. The artist has exhibited in the United States, Belgium, Algeria, Russia, Germany, and France, among other places.
Since 2007, the “Living Heritage Enterprise” label has also attested to the quality of the artist’s work.
