Large Porcelain Plate With Famille Rose Glazes - China, 19th Century
A large Chinese porcelain bowl (or basin) dating from the 19th century. With its generous diameter of 37 cm, this piece has substantial volume and a commanding presence, making it ideal for display as a centerpiece or on a pedestal.
The interior is richly adorned with a polychrome enamel decoration in the “Famille Rose” style. The background features an asymmetrical composition of flowering branches and peonies, rendered with a beautifully vibrant color palette.
