Water-dropper From The Shipwreck Off The Coast Of Hoi An (15th Century) #2

Vietnamese porcelain (or porcelainous stoneware) water-dropper for making chinese ink, shaped like a monkey holding its young and painted with cobalt blue underglaze.
In good condition with a glaze that is still quite glossy. Some slight erosion of the glaze, barely visible on the snouts.
In the same cargo, archaeologists found other examples shaped like deers, buffalos, elephants, turtles, frogs, fishes, etc.
