Khmer Bronze. Large Oil Lamp
Rare and massive bronze oil lamp; it is 220 mm high and weighs over 1.4 Kg.
It rests on four arched feet each bearing a stylized lion-cobra.
The green patina has fortunately been preserved without any untimely cleaning.
Excavated bronze found in the Buriram region (Isaan) and dated to the Khmer Empire (XII-XIIIth century).
