This work by the French-Japanese painter Foussa Itaya depicts a stylized architectural landscape. She was born in 1919 in Fukuoka, Japan, and studied at the Japan School of Fine Arts. She exhibited at the Salon Nikakai, and in 1953 came to Paris to exhibit her work.
In 1955, she exhibited at the Galerie Drouant-David, and several of her works were shown at the Israel Museum, Carnegie Hall in New York, the Japanese Embassy in Paris, and in Switzerland. Since 1956, he has participated in the Salon d'Automne in Paris and also exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français, where he received a gold medal in 1963.
