Tabriz Carpet, Kadjar Dynasty, 142 X 191 Cm, Hand-knotted Wool, Iran, Second Half Of The 19th Century

Antique Tabriz rug of the highest quality, sold with its certificate of sale from the previous owner (see photos).
Decorated with a large medallion on a brick background, whose soft, fine wool offers an ordered palette of magnificent colors provoking a striking contrast, accompanied by two large pendants.

This rug measures 142 cm wide by 191 cm long.
Piece in very good condition, the bangs are short, the selvedges in perfect condition, the velvet impeccable.

## The Kadjar or Kadjar dynasty ( Qājār,Qadjar,Qajar,Persian: قاجار )
was a Turkmen dynasty that ruled Iran from 1786 to 1925.

An important border accompanied by wide counter-borders are adorned with beautiful colors, interlacing and very fine flower decorations
