Vietnamese Porcelain Vase From The Hoi An Shipwreck (15th Century)
Yuhuchun form vase in blue/white porcelain stoneware from the wreck off the coast of Hoi An (Vietnam).
It is complete, with no breaks or cracks, the glaze slightly satin-finished. The very typical iron-red slip-stained bottom has been deliberately left uncleaned. Small oyster shells still present testify to its underwater origin.
Height: 15.3 cm. Weight: 250 g.
