An exceptional example of black Attic ceramics, made in Athens, Greece, circa 500 BC. A large piece in perfect condition. Its bulbous shape is remarkable, with two lateral handles. The upper part is adorned with a magnificent black glaze and the rim and opening are elegantly raised. Originally intended for holding liquids or preserving food, it is now used as a superb flower vase. In perfect condition, it measures 23 cm in diameter.
