Ô BOSHI shaped helmet and Hoshi-boshi type in iron with twenty lamellae, four of which are adorned with Shinodoré edged in gilt bronze, protruding rivets .

The visor and Fukigaeshi adorned with buckskin with the KU-GE KAMON coat of arms in iron applied to the fukigaeshi with three black lacquered iron lamellas .
Shikoro with three large levels laced blue and orange (faded).
This high quality helmet can be dated circa 1820 in the style of helmets from the MUROMASHI period (1392-1572).
The KU- GE family was part of the high nobility of ancient Japan.
Note a tear in the inner fabric.
