KABUTO (helmet) made of wrought iron with thirty-two riveted, black-lacquered plates.
THEHEN NO ANA (top opening) with three tiers of gilded copper; the first tier engraved with foliage scrolls on a nanako background.
SHIKORO (neck guard) with five tiers, lacquered red on a gilded background and featuring blue silk braiding.
MABI SA SHI (visor) made of black-lacquered iron, featuring two broad eyebrows and forehead wrinkles in relief.
FUKIGAESHI (side flaps): small, made of red-lacquered wrought iron on a gold background.
WAKIDATE: carved and lacquered wood featuring two large side horns; the junction with the kabuki is trimmed with hair.
MEMPO (half-mask) made of brown-lacquered wrought iron, with a pronounced chin, a movable nose, horsehair mustaches, visible gilded teeth, pierced nostrils, and a red-lacquered interior.
YODARE-KAKE (neck guard) with four tiers, lacquered red on a gold background and blue silk braiding.
DO (chest plate) with eight tiers, lacquered red on a gold background and blue silk braiding.
SODE (shoulder guards) with six layers of red lacquer on a gold background and blue silk braiding.
KOTE (arm guards) made of chain mail and lacquered iron plates (showing wear).
KUSAZURI (skirt) with five rows lacquered red on a gold background and blue silk braiding; the bottom row trimmed with horsehair.
HAIDATE (underskirt) with five rows lacquered brown.
SUNEATE (leg guards) made of brown-lacquered iron plates, padded fabric, and leather.
Dimensions of the armor in a seated position: 183 x 87 x 53 cm.
Sold with its display stand and its pair of GUSOKU BITSU (transport chests) made of wood with metal reinforcements and adorned with a clan crest.
