Pistol from the early production run of the Charleville factory.
Barrel with remnants of markings on the breech tang: m 1777, an m and 39, and the inspector's mark st s 79.
Barrel length: 18.9 cm.
Cast brass body; the metal parts are steel and brass with an F hallmark and f 79 on the receiver.
The hook is of the correct type with a V hallmark.
Made in Charleville in 1779.
Cloud ramrod with a hallmark.
The hammer screw at the head is slightly worn. Some dents and missing wood, especially near the frizzen.
