Bavarian Riding Officer's Giber Mid 19th Century Maximilien Ii
Ghibern for a cavalry officer in the Bavarian army between 1848 and 1864, bearing the coat of arms of MAXIMILIEN II, the last king of Bavaria before the forced unification of his son Louis II.
Gibern covered with red leather on the case, black leather patelette with the monogram.
Gold-plated copper band.
Dimension :16 cm long , 10 cm high,4cm wide .
Banner in white tinted leather , lined in brown basane .
All the brasswork is in gilded brass, the crown is still there but the escutcheon which was to bear the monogram has disappeared.
