Cavalry officer's saber, single-branch hilt decorated with openwork fluting with a step at the top.
Quillon terminated by a palmette knob; palmette-decorated half-orillons.
Lion-headed calotte. Spindle in squared fruitwood.
Flat-backed curved blade with engraving remains on the first third.
Brass scabbard partly chased with spider webs and ornaments reminiscent of the General Staff, two bracelets with brass rings;brass stinger.
Note that the wooden scales are still present, which may explain the oxidation on the blade.
