A short Masonic sword, Kadosch, 30th degree, dating from the First Empire-Restoration period, 19th century. Brass hilt. Curved oval guard with a reduced counter-guard decorated with a skull and crossbones in an oval medallion on a radiant sun, bordered at the ends by two lion heads on foliage. Joint arch decorated with foliage and a central medallion with a connecting cord. Quillon end in a shell shape. Pommel inclined forward with a wreath of foliage and a base adorned with a square and compass on one side and a trowel on the other. Checkered ebony grip with vertical grooves. Flat-backed blade with fullers on the spine and a single edge, marked at the ricasso on both sides, with an illegible inscription. Length: 64 cm. Blade length: 50.5 cm.
