Viollet-le-duc Sword
We present this Viollet-le-Duc (1814/1879) sword circa 1830 - 1840, the era when medieval castles that had fallen into disuse for several centuries were being restored, they needed for the decoration of coats of arms, halberds, swords, rapiers etc.
As the automobile did not exist we moved around less we had style made but the old fashioned way, which is the case with this wrought-iron weapon. The leather scabbard is in good condition, but there is a tear in the last part of the leather scabbard, but nothing is missing.
