Reliquary With Four Relics And Its Agnus Dei - 19th Century
In a beautifully patinated, gilt and painted wooden frame, a central Agnus Dei is offered for devotion. It is surrounded by gilt and silver threadwork, pearls, and several pieces of blue glass. Protecting this Agnus Dei, on which Saint Andrew can be discerned, are four bagged relics of Saint Clement, Saint Vincent Martyr, Saint Liberatus, and Saint Anselm Martyr. A well-balanced piece from southern Germany, dating from the very beginning of the 19th century.
A beautiful wax seal on the back protects the relics.
