PropertiesView / Product Original print, engraved with a burin on steel. Engraving by Pieter van der Aa (Leiden, 1659–1733), one of the great Dutch publishers and booksellers of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Beautiful panoramic view of Saint-Malo depicted from the opposite bank, probably the Saint-Servan side. The city appears powerfully encircled by ramparts, punctuated by round towers and dominated by the cathedral's bell tower, asserting its role as a strategic stronghold.
