Engraving on steel, on laid paper, hand-enhanced with watercolor. Made by Georges le Rouge, military engineer of the fortifications and geographer of King Louis XV. He was also military engineer of the Count of Clermont, engraver, publisher and print dealer. This engraving represents Rouen seen from the Seine, with particular attention paid to the bell towers, roofs, ramparts and port facilities. .Dimension(s): Frame: Height. 27 cm – Length. 30 cm - Width.
