Set of four elegant Napoleon III period chairs in ebonized wood with gilt painted decoration. The openwork backs with turned slats are adorned with a delicate gilt floral motif, characteristic of decorative furniture from the second half of the 19th century. The seats have been recently restored by an upholsterer and covered in a very bright golden-yellow damask fabric, giving the set a remarkable decorative presence. The cabriole legs and turned stretchers complete the elegant silhouette of these chairs, typical of the Napoleon III style. French work from the second half of the 19th century. A very decorative set, ideal for an interior design project, a period home, a hotel, or a restaurant. Very good condition. Recently reupholstered by a professional upholsterer.
