18th-century English London Enamel Table Snuff/trinket Box Old London Bridge
A rare and large 18th-century English London enamel table snuff/trinket box of lobed form, the lid finely painted with an image of Old London Bridge, after the original by Samuel Scott (1703–1772), the front with a cartouche with the printed coat of arms of the City of London surrounded by white enamel scrolls, the remainder of the body painted with roses and Forget-me-nots against a gilded lattice on a pink ground, the white interior with a flower spray painted on the inside of the lid. Metal mounts.
