A pair of Veuve Perrin, Marseille, square faience dishes, late 18th century, hand-painted with dancers in a rural riverside setting with surrounding flowers, with scalloped sides in puce and yellow, and brown/dark red rims.
Marks: VP marks in underglaze blue.

Dish with building on left: Fine crazing of glaze, a faint hairline from the side visible underneath (see image), a couple of rough patches underneath (did not wash off with soap and water)
Dish with building on right: Chip at top right corner, faint speckling to glaze, most visible on underside.
