18th-century French Soft Paste Porcelain Figure Group

An 18th-century French figural group of harvesters in glazed white soft paste porcelain, him with a bottle and berries, her with a sheaf, both seated on a perforated rocky base. Probably Orléons or Mennecy. 16.5 cm (6.5 in) high.

Condition: She is holding something in her right hand, most of which is missing. There is a firing flaw on the edge of the base, to which leaves were applied at the time of manufacture. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals restoration to both of his legs.

Shipping: Free to UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Asia, USA, and most other destinations. Please note that any import charges/sales tax are the buyer's responsibility. Please note that for sales to the USA, state sales tax may be charged in advance.
