Magnificent Art Deco period solid silver enamel case.
The case is rectangular and made of silver.
The base is guilloché with a rice grain pattern.
The lid is enameled with three wide bands of opaque black and blue enamel.
The interior of the case is vermeil (gilt silver).
It is hallmarked:
Minerva 1st standard mark (pre-1973) for 950/1000 silver
Maker's mark: AD with an illegible mint mark
A very beautiful case with a geometric enamel decoration typical of the Art Deco period.
