Magnificent 19th-century canvas from the Barbizon School. The artist is certainly a member of the Barbizon School circle, frequented by painters such as Daubigny, Harpignies, etc. It may even have been a member himself. It is presented in its magnificent, high-quality original frame. Gilding and very good original condition. A small plaque is unfortunately largely worn away. The canvas is in very good condition; I would only point out a small restoration in the trees towards the left, not visible on the back of the painting. Beautiful dimensions. Canvas only on a beautiful keyed stretcher, 61 cm x 50 cm. That is a 12F (Figure). Total dimensions with the frame: 90 cm x 79 cm. I have left the canvas in its frame without removing it. (Nature)
