Louis Robert Antral is a well-known artist, born in 1895 in Châlon-sur-Marne and died in Paris in 1939. Painter of portraits, landscapes, harbor landscapes, still lifes, flowers, watercolorist, pastelist, engraver. Student of Cormon at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris in 1913. Present in many French museums. His lively and refined touch is reminiscent of Albert Marquet. Dimensions on view, 46 cm x 30 cm. With its frame, canvas and gilded rod, (two small scratches) 62.5 cm x 47 cm.
