Beautiful canvas in perfect condition in its original gilt-molded wooden frame. It is an original view and composition of Martigues, animated with figures. The author of this charming and lively work is Henri Dufaux, a painter (student of Imbert). He studied fine arts in Geneva, Florence, and Paris, like Ferdinand Hodler, and was a student of Barthélemy Menn in Geneva. He was a good figure painter, a traveling artist, and also an inventor.
