The greenhouse by Emil Weber (1867-1933) Flowery atmosphere for this immense greenhouse which was one of those operated by the very famous horticultural company Becker Fleurs in Mulhouse, it has also obtained numerous distinctions. Oil on strong cardboard. Beautiful old frame with palmettes in wood and gilded stucco. Frame dimensions 53 x 45 cm, panel dimensions 40.5 x 33 cm Born in Switzerland in Winterthur-See, Emil Weber (1867-1933) attended the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris and took classes with Gérôme. He set up his studio first in Gray in Haute-Saone then in Mulhouse. He exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1926 -1927 - 1928.
