Oil on canvas circa 1900, Fishermen with nets in rough weather. The painting is signed lower right SIMON M and located HAGUE. Which could be La Hague in the English Channel. The canvas is in good condition, two tiny restorations well done in the sky. Dimensions of the canvas alone, 46 cm x 38 cm, or an 8 Figure. Presented in a pretty frame called "Montparnasse" in carved and patinated wood. Total dimensions, 61.5 cm x 53.5 cm. Maurice Simon is a Belgian artist born in the 19th century. He painted seascapes, landscapes and orientalist subjects.
