For sale, one-of-a-kind item: Today, I'm taking a break from the antique items I usually offer for sale and I'm going to tell you about this creation by Manuela Biocca. I fell in love with this textile artist who specializes in embroidery. It took Manuela 150 hours of work to create this sacred heart, a modern heir to the sacred heart of Jesus ex-votos.
Each piece created by Manuela is unique. This painting combines different materials: gold embroidery, silk, velvet, pearls, stones, and silk fabric flowers handmade using techniques derived from luxury embroidery: gold embroidery, needle embroidery, and Lunéville embroidery.
This work comes with a certificate of authenticity stating the title and number of copies.
